Is the drain pipe adapter made of ABS or PVC? This model is made of ABS material. You can order components in ABS or PVC, depending on the waste material of the bathtub bottom.

Why can't a brass pipe be cut? If you cut a brass pipe, the cut may be uneven, and the sharp edges may tear the poly gasket, causing it to become unsealed and leak.

How can the center tab be removed with channel locks? You can use pliers to hold the tab in the middle, shake it a bit, and then pull it out firmly.

What could be causing water leaks above the floor? 1. Is the poly gasket placed horizontally and sealed? 2. Is the brass pipe installed correctly and kept straight?

What could be causing water leaks inside the floor? 1. Is the valve free of damage or cracks? 2. Is the diameter of the P-Trap 2" or 1½"?

Should I use the included 2" to 1½" drainage adapter? Please note: You may receive white/black components in the near future, but they are all made of ABS material. The initial setting of our ABS is also printed in white, and it was not mistakenly sent as PVC; but in order to no longer cause confusion, we have taken the customer's suggestion and will upgrade the ABS model to black.

ABS Adapter Provided: The ABS Plastic Adapter attaches Rough-in to ABS Bath wastes for quick, easy and clean installation.

Protection Design: ① Built-in snap-off Test Cap allows for water/air testing; ② Blue Protection Cover to prevent cement and masonry from falling in before installation is completed; ③ 2" to 1½" Drainage adapter, standard US plumbing connector fits perfectly in a 1½" or 2" p-trap.
