Is the drain pipe adapter made of ABS or PVC? This model is made of PVC material. You can order components in ABS or PVC, depending on the waste material of the bathtub bottom.

Why can't brass pipes be cut? Cutting a brass pipe may result in uneven edges that can tear the poly gasket, causing leaks.

How do I remove the center tab with channel locks? Simply use pliers to hold the tab in the center, wiggle it slightly, and then pull it out firmly.

What could be causing water leaks above the floor? 1. Check if the poly gasket is placed horizontally and properly sealed. 2. Ensure the brass pipe is correctly installed and straight.

What could be causing water leaks inside the floor? 1. Verify that the valve is undamaged and without cracks. 2. Confirm if the P-Trap diameter is 2" or 1½".
